WE’RE HERE TO HELP

A little help.
Back to your day.

Find an answer below, or email support@secondactlabs.com. Your message goes to Second Act Labs, the team behind Street Legal.

The parking answer doesn’t match the signs

Check the exact curb and side of the street, as well as the selected day and time. Posted and temporary signs take priority. Construction, events, emergencies, and recent changes may not yet appear in city records.

Use “Report a problem with this block” in the app to prepare a report. Include what differs from the signs; a clear sign photo can help if you choose to attach one to your email. Review the message before sending.

A curb is gray or says unknown

There isn’t enough reliable evidence for a clear parking answer there. It does not mean parking is allowed. Check the signs on the street. Coverage is available across all five boroughs and varies by neighborhood and curb.

Find or share your saved car

Open your saved parking session and choose “Back to my car” for walking directions in Apple Maps. Use the share control to send a Maps link to your saved curb. Saving a car and sharing its location are separate actions.

If directions don’t open, check that Apple Maps is installed. Navigation needs the permissions and connectivity required by Apple Maps. If an older saved session has no usable location, the app cannot invent a destination.

A reminder didn’t arrive

Check iPhone Settings → Notifications → Street Legal and allow notifications. Check whether Focus or notification settings are silencing or delaying alerts. Confirm that the saved parking session has a supported move-by time and that a reminder was set. An unknown parking answer cannot provide a reliable countdown.

A Live Activity and a notification are separate features. If the countdown is missing from your Lock Screen, check Street Legal’s Live Activities setting in iPhone Settings. Keep an independent reminder for any deadline you cannot afford to miss.

Download a borough for parking rules

Open the app’s borough downloads and confirm the borough you need has finished downloading. Start or retry a download with an internet connection and enough device storage. Downloaded parking rules can be checked offline; map imagery, new address searches, and walking navigation may still need a connection.

Restore a subscription

Use “Restore Purchases” on the subscription screen while signed in to the Apple Account used for the purchase. An active subscription unlocks new supported searches. Previously delivered answers, your saved car, and reminders remain available without an active subscription.

Manage billing, cancel, or request a refund

Apple manages billing. To manage or cancel, open iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Street Legal. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. For purchase help or refund requests, visit Apple’s purchase support.

What to include when you contact us

Your iPhone model, iOS version, Street Legal version, and a short description of what happened help us investigate. For a parking issue, include the street, cross streets, side, and time you were checking. Send only information you’re comfortable sharing. Never send passwords, payment details, or other sensitive account information.
