# Your parking. Your business.

Privacy Policy · Updated September 7, 2026

Street Legal has no account, advertising, or tracking SDKs. Parking rules are checked on your device. Your saved car and places are not automatically uploaded to us.

## What stays on your device

Your saved parking location, reminders, saved places, recent searches, settings, and local problem-report history are stored on your device. Street Legal does not run its own cloud sync for this information. Device backups may include app data according to your Apple backup settings. Deleting the app removes its local data; backups and information you have already sent or shared are managed separately.

## Location and Apple Maps

With your permission, Street Legal uses your location while you use the app to show where you are on the map. It does not record a history of your movements or send your GPS location to a Second Act Labs server. A saved parking location is the curb you choose to save. You can browse and search without granting location access, and change permission in iPhone Settings.

Apple provides map imagery and address search. Map and search requests go to Apple. Choosing Back to my car opens Apple Maps with your saved curb as the destination for walking directions. Apple handles navigation and may use your current location under your Maps permissions. See [Apple Maps & Privacy](https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/data/en/apple-maps/) .

## Sharing your parking location

Share parking location opens the iOS share sheet with a static Maps link containing the saved curb’s coordinates. You choose the app and recipient. The link does not include a live location feed, parking verdict, or move-by deadline. Anyone who receives or is forwarded the link can see that location. The app you share through handles the message under its own privacy policy. Street Legal does not maintain a recipient list or track the link.

## Reminders and Live Activities

Parking reminders are scheduled locally through iOS. Live Activities display your parking countdown and related information on supported Lock Screen and Dynamic Island surfaces. Street Legal does not use a remote push server for them. You control notifications and Live Activities in iPhone Settings.

## Subscriptions and downloads

Apple processes purchases and restores through the App Store. Street Legal uses StoreKit transaction information to determine your subscription access; we do not receive your payment-card details. The first-search allowance is tracked locally. Apple also hosts downloadable borough data. Purchases, downloads, and any diagnostics you choose to share with Apple are handled under [Apple’s privacy policy](https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/) and your device settings.

## Support and problem reports

If you contact support, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you send. An in-app problem report can include the selected block and side, the report time, the displayed verdict, your reason and note, and a report identifier. You can send it by email or export a report file through sharing. Nothing is automatically sent to us.

We use this information to answer your request and investigate parking-data issues. Please avoid including unnecessary personal information. We retain support correspondence as needed to resolve and document the issue; information about a reported curb may be retained to maintain corrections. You can email us to request deletion of your support correspondence. Email providers process messages to deliver and store them.

## This website

The interactive map is a fixed sample delivered with the website and rendered in your browser. It does not request your location. The site has no signup form, advertising pixels, analytics scripts, or third-party fonts or video embeds. Screenshots, scripts, and the preview video are hosted with the site.

Cloudflare serves the website and may process request information such as your IP address, browser information, requested URL, and request time for delivery, security, and reliability. See [Cloudflare’s privacy policy](https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/) . Following an external link or sending a support email is subject to the destination service’s privacy practices.

## Children

Street Legal is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can address it.

## Changes and contact

We update the date on this page when the policy changes. For privacy questions or requests, contact Second Act Labs LLC at [support@secondactlabs.com](mailto:support@secondactlabs.com) .
