# Street Legal > Street Legal is an iPhone app by Second Act Labs LLC that helps drivers understand New York City street parking rules, plan an entire stay, and know when to move their car. Official site: https://streetlegalnyc.com. The app is coming to the App Store; the website will link to the public listing when available. No prelaunch signup or mailing list is offered. Published coverage spans 180 neighborhoods across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island. Coverage is not universal: individual curbs may remain unknown when evidence is insufficient. The app reconciles NYC parking and street-sign data against millions of enforcement records. It does not detect empty spaces, predict availability, reserve parking, or guarantee that a driver will not receive a ticket. Posted and temporary signs must be checked. The first supported parking search is free, including nearby curb exploration. Continued new searches require an annual subscription: US$19.99 per year, renewing unless canceled. Unknown or unsupported answers do not consume the first search. Existing answers, saved parking, and reminders remain available without an active subscription. The website's interactive Upper East Side map demonstrates a fixed sample week using data generated August 10, 2026. It is not live parking guidance. Street Legal has no account, advertising, or tracking SDKs. Apple provides Maps, purchases, and borough downloads. Location sharing and reports require a user's deliberate action. ## Product and help - [Product overview](https://streetlegalnyc.com/index.md): Features, coverage, price, limitations, and answers to common questions in Markdown. - [Support](https://streetlegalnyc.com/support.md): Parking discrepancies, saved-car navigation, reminders, downloads, subscription management, and contacting support. - [Privacy policy](https://streetlegalnyc.com/privacy.md): On-device storage, Apple services, explicit sharing, support correspondence, and website hosting. ## Optional - [Interactive website](https://streetlegalnyc.com/): The visual product presentation and sample map. - [Second Act Labs](https://secondactlabs.com/): The app's developer. - [Apple standard terms of use](https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/): App terms.
